Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Electrician and bring electrical excellence to new home builds and renovation projects! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and code-compliant electrical work that enhances the comfort and safety of our clients' homes. Duties Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, and fixtures in residential properties. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring layouts. Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and circuit testers to identify issues quickly. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), and safety procedures to guarantee safety and quality standards. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform installations and repairs efficiently. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including framing carpentry and low-voltage system integration. Requirements Proven experience as a residential electrician with knowledge of electrical systems in homes or similar environments. Strong background in residential electrical systems. Familiarity with NFPA 70 compliance, NEC standards, and local electrical codes is essential. Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately for precise installations. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters. Construction site experience including renovation projects is highly desirable. Handyman skills or experience with blueprint reading enhances versatility on diverse jobsites. Must be able to work independently. $20.00 - $38.00 per hour
