Job Description

Overview Electricians install, adjust, modify, and repair all mill electrical, electronic, automation and drives equipment as required by the Shift Supervisor and Electrical Maintenance Supervisors. Use prints and drawings to diagnose problems. AThese and any other duties assigned by the Supervisor will be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Provide leadership in Safety. Install new equipment or upgrade existing equipment. Control Circuit Troubleshooting and automation for digital and analog signals Ability to read electrical schematics. Instrumentation and Calibration Allen Bradley - Troubleshooting and installation Answer electrical calls and repair in a timely fashion Qualifications Be safety minded Electrical experience, preferably in the manufacturing industries Ability to work around all levels of electrical supply voltage Ability to work at heights Excellent Communication (Verbal/Written) & Organizational skills Preferred Large DC Motor Experience 2-year Electrical Degree or 2 years relevant electrical experience 480V motor experience Low/control voltage Allen Bradley PLC experience AC/DC motor VFD experience Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
