Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Service Electrician to join our team and deliver top-tier electrical services across commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electrical systems with precision and safety in mind. Your expertise will ensure that electrical operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with all safety standards. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including high-voltage and low-voltage wiring on commercial and industrial sites. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects. Utilize hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical issues swiftly. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely while adhering to strict safety protocols. Diagnose electrical system faults using advanced diagnostics techniques to minimize downtime. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new construction projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and compliance records. Conduct routine maintenance checks and emergency repairs to uphold system reliability. Stay current with industry best practices related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and NFPA 70 compliance requirements. Experience Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical systems installation or repair. Familiarity with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage electrical wiring techniques across various environments. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical systems. Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards for safe electrical installations. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, multimeters (including ohmmeters), and other diagnostic equipment effectively. Strong understanding of local electrical codes combined with a commitment to electrical safety procedures. Previous handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support.
