Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine the layout and installation of electrical systems
• Perform electrical installations for new construction projects or renovations
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete electrical work
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget
• Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices

Skills:

• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications
• Experience with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in the electrical trade
• Understanding of logic controllers and their integration into electrical systems
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, coworkers, and supervisors
