In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across the base. Your expertise will ensure the safety, efficiency, and compliance of electrical infrastructure on construction sites, renovation projects, and ongoing operations. Responsibilities:

Perform all facets of electrical installations Responsible for troubleshooting electrical issues, repairing, replacing, and maintaining the electrical wiring and circuits on assets on the base by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and repairing the machinery's electrical components in a timely manner Knowledge and experience working with voltages up to 480 V Maintain and repair as needed all indoor/outdoor lighting systems to include all associated controls and to maintain and repair electrical distribution system in base buildings Repair and replace as needed motors, contacts, relays, motor starters, and motor sheaves, wiring as it pertains to HVAC equipment Perform preventive maintenance for electrical fixtures throughout base Perform general maintenance tasks necessary for repair at the property Respond to maintenance calls, troubleshooting and repairing issues Run new power/cables, and perform project work for the base Prepare estimates, man hours, materials used and orders items needed for job completion or inventory replacement per established procedures Follows all policy, procedures and service standards and complies with all current related safety and health requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

US Citizen with valid Drivers license Active security clearance, or the ability to obtain an active government clearance at time of application (must pass criminal, credit, DMV and background check) Amentum is willing to process clearance for successful candidate High school Diploma or GED plus DPOR Journeyman or Master License from any state to transfer, or 10 years relevant field experience Experience with installing and troubleshooting low voltage/control wiring Skilled in use of tools common to the trade including electric meters and hand and powered tools Must be able to climb stairs and ladders to include extension ladders repetitively during the shift #

$26.00 - $36.00 per hour
