NESA Electric LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced 02 Residential Journeyman Electrician to join our growing electrical company on an on-call/as-needed basis . We are a small electrical contractor currently focused on residential service work, remodels, additions, and new construction throughout Skagit, Whatcom, and Snohomish Counties.

Pay:

$35-$45 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule:

On-call / as-needed based on available work About the Position As our primary field electrician, you will be responsible for handling residential jobs as they come in while the owner focuses primarily on estimating, scheduling, customer acquisition, and running the business. Because we are still growing, this is not currently a guaranteed 40-hour-per-week position . Hours will depend on the amount of work scheduled. As the company grows and our workload becomes more consistent, there is potential for this position to develop into a more regular/full-time role and even bigger opportunities. Eventually, we also plan to hire an apprentice to work alongside our journeyman as the workload increases. Responsibilities Run residential electrical jobs independently Residential service calls and troubleshooting Remodels, additions, and new construction Panel, circuit, lighting, and other residential electrical work Read plans and lay out residential jobs Pick up materials from electrical supply houses when necessary Communicate professionally with homeowners and contractors Keep jobs organized, clean, and professional Communicate material needs and job progress with the owner Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone with a valid Washington State 02 Residential Journeyman Electrician certificate who is comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for jobs from start to finish. This position is not for someone just looking for another job, this is for someone who is looking to grow with a company and have a big role and opportunities to grow. Good customer service is extremely important. You will often be the primary person representing NESA Electric at the customer's home or with our contractors, so we're looking for someone who is professional, respectful, communicates well, and takes pride in their work. You would initially be our primary field employee. As NESA Electric grows, there is potential for increased hours, an apprentice working alongside you, and greater responsibility within the company's field operations. Vehicle & Benefits Because we are still a small and growing company, benefits are not currently offered . A company vehicle may become available in the future as the position and workload grow. Initially, you will need reliable transportation to get yourself to jobsites. Larger material orders will generally be delivered or dropped off at the jobsite by the owner. There may occasionally be a need to pick up smaller materials or supplies. Requirements Valid Washington State 02 Residential Journeyman Electrician certificate Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Residential electrical experience Ability to work independently and run jobs Strong troubleshooting skills Good communication and customer-service skills Dependable, professional, and organized Ability to communicate job progress and material needs Interest in growing with a small electrical company
