Job Description Modification Electrician F&H B Company:
Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Modification Electrician F&H B to join our team in Everett, WA .
Position Responsibilities:
Follow the guidance and direction from lead, and senior SMEs Remove, replace, adjust and/or install equipment racks, power panels and various aircraft components/assemblies, and closures Perform bond and ground testing to ensure electrical ground between aircraft systems Perform wire routing and wire terminations Perform soldering Perform pre and post testing of electrical systems Locate work area using drawings, Installation Plan or other paperwork that specifies airplane number, section number and three-point location Obtain and verify detail parts, standards and assemblies were issued correctly and are free of visible defects Perform lock out, tag out, try out equipment for safety Perform detailed tool inventories daily Demonstrate a safe work ethic Work with military customers to ensure compliance with BDS policies and procedures Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience in performing complete operational testing of electrical systems 1+ years of experience in electronics or electrical troubleshooting Experience reading and interpreting system prints and schematics

Additional Information:
This is a union-represented position This is an hourly position governed by the International Association of Machinist (IAM 751) Collective Bargaining Agreement. New Hires, as well as employees who transfer from non-union positions, may be required to attend some type of training upon their start. Once any required training has been completed all new employees will be considered on probation for a period of sixty (60) calendar days. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of the probationary period. The selected candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned
