Qualifications Must have strong electrical installation and repair experience, prefer a journeyman level craftsman with licensing Previous experience in light construction work and HVAC desired Must be able to follow instruction Must be able to install electrical in compliance with the NEC The ability to perform work involving power tools, ladders, and other equipment as needed Ability to organize work flow on a daily basis is required Manual dexterity and ability to operate equipment, and understand proper use of various power equipment and tools Ability to work with little supervision Self-motivated to ensure building and surroundings are attractive, clean, and well functioning Positive attitude; takes pride and ownership in job Ability to think and act quickly, problem solve, and perform effectively under pressure while maintaining a professional, helpful, and poised demeanor. Benefits Medical, dental, vision insurance available after 30 days of employment. The Spokane Club covers most of the cost. Family members can be added at an additional expense. Basic life insurance coverage for all full-time employees, currently at $50k. Accrued vacation time of up to 10 days per year, along with sick pay of 1 hour per 40 hours worked. Vacation time increases to 15 days after 5 years. 6 paid holidays, along with 1 "floating" holiday to use whenever you like. Employee meal program where a company provided lunch is usually offered for free. Plus 50% off meals in our Restaurant, and 25% off food in our Deli. Free Spokane Club membership Free Parking 401k plan Job Requirements Education and Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); formal trade training preferred. Prefer a journeyman level craftsman with licensing. Minimum age of 18 years. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
