Job Description

Residential Journeyman Electrician - Washington 02 License Purple Electric Spokane, WA Job Details Full-time $30 - $45 an hour 22 hours ago Benefits Fuel card Qualifications Customer communication Customer service In-person customer service Residential construction experience Equipment troubleshooting Trailer towing Driver's License Problem-solving Technical troubleshooting support Mobile devices Vehicle parking operations Full Job Description You earned your license. Put it to work somewhere your skills make a difference, and your performance can increase your paycheck. Purple Electric is hiring a Washington 02 licensed residential journeyman electrician for a full-time position. We offer base pay plus performance bonuses, with total regular hourly earnings up to $45, a Monday-Friday schedule, and a company vehicle for work. Occasional Saturday work is optional when available. We're looking for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, takes pride in clean installations, and likes helping homeowners solve real problems. Whether you're replacing an outdated panel, installing an EV charger, or tracking down a frustrating power issue, your work will make someone's home safer and more functional. About Problem Solved Electric We're a locally owned electrical contractor based in Hayden, Idaho, serving Eastern Washington and North Idaho. This opening focuses on residential electrical work in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, and surrounding Washington communities. Our work includes service calls, repairs, upgrades, remodels, and new installations. You'll get variety, not just the same installation day after day. What we offer You'll receive a guaranteed base rate of $25-30 per hour, plus the opportunity to earn up to $15 per hour in performance bonuses, for total regular hourly compensation up to $45. Our performance bonuses recognize customer satisfaction, quality workmanship, efficient job completion without sacrificing safety, and complete job documentation. Bonus requirements and eligibility are outlined in your written compensation plan. Overtime is paid as required by law. The regular schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays are available for employees who choose to work them; they are not part of the required regular schedule. A company vehicle is provided for work-related travel. The position includes towing a company trailer, so you must be comfortable safely pulling, backing, and parking a trailer. What you'll work on Residential troubleshooting and repairs, including tripping breakers, power loss, faulty outlets, and other electrical problems. Panel replacements, service upgrades, meter/main replacements, subpanels, surge protection, and grounding and bonding corrections. EV chargers, hot tub and swim spa circuits, RV outlets, and dedicated appliance circuits. Residential generator connections, inlet boxes, interlocks, and transfer switches. Indoor and outdoor lighting, recessed lights, ceiling fans, exhaust fans, switches, outlets, and electrical connections for heating and cooling equipment. Residential remodels, new construction, garage and shop wiring, and electrical inspection corrections within the Washington 02 license scope. What makes someone a good fit You take ownership of your work, communicate clearly with customers, and leave the job looking professional. You can troubleshoot thoughtfully, plan an installation, and complete code-compliant work without cutting corners. You're comfortable working independently and collaborating with the team. You also understand that keeping the vehicle organized, documenting the job, and helping apprentices develop good habits are part of being a strong journeyman. Requirements An active Washington 02 residential electrician license is required. This is a licensed electrician position, not an apprentice opening. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required because driving a company vehicle is an essential part of the job. You must be able to safely tow, back, and park a company trailer. You must have solid residential electrical installation and troubleshooting skills, reliable attendance, and professional customer communication. You must be comfortable using mobile job-management software for job details, photos, notes, and time tracking. Ready for a change? Bring your electrical skills, pride in your work, and ability to solve problems. Join a company where those qualities matter. As part of your application, you will be asked to submit a video interview. This must be provided in order to move on to next steps in the process.
