Home Comfort Alliance is looking for a skilled 02 Service Electrician to join our growing electrical service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential electrical systems, with a strong focus on electrical work supporting home comfort repairs and upgrades. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with homeowners, and capable of working independently in a service environment. Benefits and Compensation $40-$55 per hour, depending on experience 401(k) matching program Employer-sponsored health insurance, including a no-cost high-deductible employee-only option Take-home company vehicle and gas card Tool allowance Career development, training, and advancement opportunities What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential electrical problems, including wiring, breakers, panels, outlets, switches, lighting, disconnects, and control systems Install and replace panels, circuits, disconnects, surge protection, grounding systems, and other residential electrical components Respond to service calls and clearly explain findings, repair options, and recommendations to homeowners Perform electrical safety inspections, testing, maintenance, and code corrections Obtain required permits and complete work that passes applicable inspections Ensure all work complies with the NEC, Washington electrical laws and rules, manufacturer requirements, and company standards Complete work orders, time entries, job notes, photos, and other required documentation accurately and promptly Communicate job progress, additional findings, delays, or concerns to customers and team members Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, and other field teams when completing multi-trade projects Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support apprentices and less-experienced team members when needed Participate in scheduled meetings, training, and company initiatives Consistently demonstrate Home Comfort Alliance's core values What We're Looking For Active Washington State 02 Residential Specialty Electrician Certificate Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, wiring methods, and electrical theory Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, Chapter 19.28 RCW, and Chapter 296-46B WAC Ability to independently diagnose electrical problems and recommend appropriate solutions Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to complete required documentation using mobile technology Commitment to maintaining all required continuing education and keeping your electrician certificate in good standing An active Washington 01 General Journey Level Electrician Certificate is also acceptable Who We Are Home Comfort Alliance has helped homeowners throughout the Puget Sound region stay comfortable for more than 46 years.
