Journeyman Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical work, including renovation projects, and will be proficient in both commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical installations. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Renovate existing electrical systems to meet current codes and standards. Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize high voltage equipment safely and effectively. Operate power tools and equipment such as voltmeters for testing electrical systems. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including Maintenance Person services, to complete projects efficiently. Perform frame carpentry as needed to support electrical installations. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards while working on-site. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician with a strong background in both commercial and industrial settings. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding electrical schematics. Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols related to electrical work. Experience using power tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters. Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks related to electrical installations is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
