Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
• Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to complete projects requiring multiple skill sets
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices as needed

Experience:

• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and performing repairs or replacements as needed
• Familiarity with hand tools and equipment commonly used in the electrical trade
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills
• Emphasis on organization and cleanliness
