An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Become One Of Our Valued Technicians/Mechanics:
Here at Lakeside Foods, our maintenance technician/mechanic team is the backbone of our operations, ensuring equipment runs optimally while maintaining the facility. Maintenance technicians/mechanics are respected "Jack of All Trades" team members, performing troubleshooting on electrical/electronics and minor mechanical and/or fabrication updates and using their knowledge to improve production processes. If you are a creative problem-solver who perseveres through challenging electrical/electronic repairs, we want to talk with you.
What You'll Get:
Competitive wages based on experience and Mechanical placement test Off-season schedule: Four 10's Monday
  • Thursday Production season (July
  • November): 2nd shift hours from 5:00 p.m
  • 5:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Production season (July

What You'll Do:
Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment Perform minor mechanical replacements and fabrication
What You'll Bring:
Prior experience with electrical/electronics maintenance is a plus Prior youth apprentice experience/graduate is a plus Must possess mechanical aptitude in regards to an industrial setting Have basic understanding of manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred Willingness to learn Positive attitude Strong work ethic Safety mindset
