An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Full-Time Apprentice or Licensed Journeyman Electrician Schedule:

What We Are Looking For We are scaling up our operations and are ready to hire either a driven Apprentice eager to learn the trade the right way or a skilled, independent Journeyman. If you're an Apprentice, you bring: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a desire to master the National Electrical Code. The ability to take direction, learn quickly, and maintain a clean, safe job site. Basic hand tools and a commitment to showing up ready to work every day. If you're a Journeyman, you bring: A valid Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read prints and run residential or light commercial jobs independently. Excellent customer service skills—you will be one of the faces of Cove's Electric out in the field. Minimum Requirements for
Both:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (strictly required for driving company vehicles). High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass a background check. Competitive Hourly Wage:
Journeyman:
$32.00 - $38.00/hour (Depending on license verification and field experience)
Apprentice:
$18.00 - $29.00/hour (Depending on year of apprenticeship and current trade school standing)
