Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Bowling Mechanic to join our team for our League nights. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing bowling alley equipment to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests. Your expertise will help keep our facilities running smoothly, ensuring safety, reliability, and top performance of all mechanical and electrical systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced entertainment environment while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on bowling alley machinery, including pinsetters, ball returns, scoring systems, and lane surfaces. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues using precision measuring instruments, schematics, and electrical diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Repair or replace worn or damaged parts using welding skills (welding if applicable), electrical blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to restore equipment functionality promptly. Collaborate with vendors or field service technicians for specialized repairs or equipment upgrades. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to electrical systems, high voltage equipment, and industrial maintenance procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing facility maintenance or industrial mechanic roles with a strong background in equipment troubleshooting and repair. Knowledge of electrical systems including electrical blueprint reading, schematics, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks such as low voltage wiring, high voltage safety procedures, and electrical maintenance. Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately; experience with precision measuring instruments like ammeters and ohmmeters is essential. Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service orientation to support internal teams and external clients effectively. Relevant certifications in welding (welding if applicable), electrical troubleshooting, or industrial maintenance are preferred. Excellent communication skills in English to facilitate clear documentation and team collaboration.
