Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Residential Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential settings, ensuring all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards. Your expertise will help homeowners enjoy safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and appliances in residential properties. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to identify issues quickly and accurately. Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes for safety and compliance. Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects involving industrial or commercial systems. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety procedures. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and system upgrades for future reference. Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople on construction or renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Experience Proven experience as a residential electrician. Hands-on experience with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Safety Code) compliance is required. Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters. Knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations is essential for ensuring safe and compliant installations. Construction site experience with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs while maintaining high safety standards. Ability to use hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers along with power tools safely and effectively. Pay:
