Per Hour BOE Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, electrical panels, and switches. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform corrective actions to minimize system downtime. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installations. Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various electrical components. Install and bend conduit as required to accommodate wiring needs for specific projects. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using various testing devices. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical service and installation. Possession of necessary hand tools and personal protective equipment (PPE). Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Dependable and punctual with the ability to work independently at various job sites. Reliable transportation to commute to sites within the Green Bay area.
Physical Requirements:
Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles. Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions and around loud noises. Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Must be aware of OSHA safety standards. Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time. Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
Pay Transparency:
The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
