Maintenance Electrician - 1st Shift Sjoberg Tool & Manufacturing $35-$40/hour | Full-Time | 1st Shift Are you an experienced industrial electrician who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment and keeping production running at its best? In this role, you'll work hands-on with CNC machines, robotics, PLCs, automation systems, and facility equipment in a modern manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems and production equipment Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, robotics, servo drives, PLCs, motor controls, transformers, and facility systems Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals Install, repair, and modify electrical wiring and components in compliance with applicable electrical codes Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Install, adjust, replace, and calibrate control and electrical components Support plant communication networks and related equipment Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and implement effective solutions Complete maintenance work orders and documentation accurately Partner with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to support operational goals Assist with equipment upgrades, improvement projects, and other maintenance initiatives Work overtime and occasional weekends as needed What We're Looking For Journeyman-level electrician experience preferred 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems and industrial controls Experience troubleshooting PLCs, CNC equipment, robotics, servo drives, and automation systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance software systems Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Dependable, safety-focused team player with strong communication skills Willingness to learn, cross-train, and support a variety of maintenance functions Physical Requirements Regularly lift and carry 10-25 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs.
