An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.
Full-Time | $36.00-$44.00 per hour Experienced in residential electrical work but not yet licensed as a Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician? Larson Electric is hiring an experienced Residential Electrician who can contribute immediately while continuing to develop toward Journeyman licensure. This is not an entry-level apprenticeship position. We are looking for someone with substantial hands-on residential electrical experience who understands proper wiring methods, works safely, and wants the training and support needed to advance their career. A Journeyman license is not required. However, applicants must hold—or be able to obtain—the Wisconsin electrical credential required to legally perform their assigned work.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Substantial hands-on residential electrical experience Approximately 8,000 or more documented electrical hours strongly preferred Knowledge of residential wiring methods and safe work practices Ability to work productively with limited supervision Experience reading plans and laying out residential work Ability to identify necessary materials, tools, and equipment Service-upgrade or troubleshooting experience strongly preferred Professional communication with homeowners and coworkers Valid driver's license Interest in obtaining a Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician license

SCHEDULE
Typical hours are approximately 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hours may occasionally vary based on project needs.
