6:00 AM-4:30 PM About the Role This hands-on electro-mechanical role focuses on building and wiring electrical control panels and cabinets for custom conveyor and product-handling equipment. You will work from electrical schematics and machine drawings to complete panel assembly, machine wiring, sensor installation, cable routing, and related mechanical work. You will also assist electrical engineers with pre-functional testing, troubleshooting, and machine start-up while working closely with assembly and electrical teams. The schedule is 6:00 AM-4:30 PM in Neenah, and this is a direct-hire opportunity paying $30/hour. Key Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical control panels and cabinets using electrical schematics
- Perform machine wiring from machine drawings and electrical schematics
- Mount and align sensors and complete on-machine cable routing
- Attach electrical enclosures to machines and perform related mechanical assembly work
- Punch holes in cabinets and drill and tap holes in machine conveyors
- Mount conduit, wire-way, and other raceway systems
- Assist electrical engineers with pre-functional testing, troubleshooting, and machine start-up
- Document completed work accurately on weekly time sheets
- Maintain an organized work area and follow workplace safety standards and company procedures
- Support other areas of the shop as needed in response to production demands Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot electrical schematics
- Ability to read and understand Bills of Materials
- Understanding of AC/DC control circuits and 3-phase motor control
- Three or more years of hands-on experience building automated industrial control panels and wiring equipment
- Three or more years of experience using power and hand tools, fabrication machinery, pneumatic tools, and a multimeter
- Three or more years of experience in manufacturing or general labor
- Familiarity with electrical control components including breakers, disconnect switches, relays, timers, and safety circuits
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions and blueprints
- General math skills and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing priorities, and work with minimal supervision
- Team-oriented and customer-service-focused approach
- Basic hand tools for the electrical and mechanical assembly activities required by the role
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; bend, kneel, walk, or sit for extended periods; reach above the head and below the knees; and climb and work at elevation
- Ability to work around material-handling equipment, dust, moderate noise, and required personal protective equipment Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology
- Conveyor industry experience
