Job Description

Overview Our growing team is looking to hire a skilled and experienced electrician (Journeyman preferred). We are specifically looking for someone who is seasoned in the electrical industry, currently working on an apprenticeship and/or having multiple years of in-field experience, or having already become licensed. This is a leadership position where this individual would drive their own company vehicle, be the go-to person on the jobsite to answer questions and keep the job running smoothly, and be an active team member to collaboratively troubleshoot electrical issues. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential and commercial service to remodel, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver exceptional results. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial environments, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and local electrical codes. Handle high-voltage electrical wiring and systems safely while following NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards for electrical safety. Conduct routine inspections of electrical infrastructure during construction or renovation projects, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete electrical work efficiently on construction sites or existing facilities. Read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately to guide installation or repair tasks in accordance with project specifications. Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to coordinate work schedules and ensure project milestones are met. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician (Journeyman preferred) with a strong background in residential and commercial electrical systems. Extensive knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and local electrical codes. Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams with precision. Hands-on experience with line-voltage wiring, low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment safely and effectively. Construction site experience including installation during new builds or renovations is highly desirable. Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents during installation or maintenance activities. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they escalate.
