Responsibilities Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on residential and commercial construction projects. Interpret and work from blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installations. Install, repair, and maintain wiring, fixtures, panels, devices, equipment, and related systems. Lay out and mark positions for electrical installations, including device and panel locations, conduit runs, and equipment. Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, raceways, boxes, cable trays, and wiring. Work independently to manage all phases of assigned jobs, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Maintain current licensing and training requirements. Ensure proper stocking of materials and communicate inventory needs to minimize return trips. Use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts to access work areas as needed. Complete service installations, upgrades, and add electrical devices or equipment to new and existing systems. Install standby generators and transfer switches. Properly size conduit, wire, and overcurrent protection for new equipment. Order materials and components in advance of installation. Document job-specific details and as-built drawings electronically. Qualifications Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician License Required 5+ years of construction electrical experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings Strong knowledge of conduit, wiring, panels, fixtures, devices, and raceways Ability to work independently and take responsibility for quality workmanship Commitment to safety and attention to detail Compensation $38.00$45.00 per hour , with overtime paid at 1.5× your base rate after 40 hours per week.
