Job Description

Plant Electrician Accountabilities:
Diagnose malfunctioning (electrical, mechanical and hydraulic) components required in an expeditious manner on equipment associated with a Preparation Plant Maintain permissibility and repair malfunctioning and down equipment Lock-out/tag-out equipment at power sources Maintain records of repair and maintenance activities, preventive maintenance activities and work orders Capable of reading and interpreting complex blue prints and electrical and hydraulic circuit's schematics Know the standard operating procedures for the installation of electrical power distribution boxes and systems Know how to energize, de-energize and operate surface mining equipment Knowledge of lubrication and service requirements Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years surface maintenance experience Ability to pass an electrical, mechanical and hydraulic test PLC experience required
