Troy Nonwovens uses recycled plastic materials to create clean and lightweight synthetic fiber used in numerous commercial applications such as padding, linings, insulation, and industrial filters. Troy currently focuses on automotive applications and supplies material to tier one customers for both thermal and acoustic applications.Objective:
Troy Nonwovens is seeking a Maintenance/Electrician Employee to join our manufacturing maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintenance operations of machinery and equipment to ensure uninterrupted production. The position coordinate maintenance activities to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and support the overall production goals. This role involves planning and executing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment issues, managing repair projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. This position requires a willingness to be involved with projects in a hands-on manner to maintain production.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with production and other departments to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and equipment audits to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain maintenance documentation, including work orders, equipment records, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Other duties, as assigned by management.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Journeyman Electrician/Technician or equivalent (Preferred)
- 5+ years related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience. Electrical Maintenance
- 480 & 3-Phase Motor Installation (Required)
- Panel Building and reading Schematics (Preferred)
- PLC Troubleshooting and/or Programming (Preferred) Mechanical Maintenance (All Preferred)
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
- Blueprint Reading
- Welding
