Apple Grove, WV, situated in the vicinity of Huntington, WV. Role Summary Seeking a seasoned Industrial Controls Electrician or Electrical Control Technician for an upcoming assignment. We are currently recruiting proficient electrical control technicians to support a major installation initiative for a premier global manufacturer located in Apple Grove, WV, near Huntington. This contract role is slated for a duration of at least six months, offering competitive compensation, daily stipends, and the opportunity to engage with sophisticated PLC-driven electrical infrastructure. Core Responsibilities Execute the installation, bending, and mounting of both flexible and rigid conduit systems. Manage the pulling, arrangement, and identification of control system wiring across 30 to 40-foot spans. Complete terminations for wiring within terminal blocks, junction boxes, and PLC I/O modules. Ensure the precise installation and alignment of various sensors, such as proximity and limit switches. Analyze and utilize technical wiring schematics, panel layouts, and diagrams to guide installation. Verify circuit integrity and component functionality using multimeters to check voltage and continuity. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to LOTO and electrical safety protocols. Drive project success by independently troubleshooting technical challenges with minimal oversight. Required Qualifications Minimum of three years of experience in industrial electrical troubleshooting and installation. Practical expertise in control panel configuration and PLC wiring. Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and NEC/IEC wiring regulations. Proficiency in operating power and hand tools, including drills, knockout punches, and conduit benders. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply complex electrical schematics and technical drawings. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience contributing to significant manufacturing or industrial-scale projects. Background in field device troubleshooting and the assembly of PLC cabinets. Technical Proficiencies Expertise in 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems. Advanced Electrical Installation techniques. Comprehensive Electrical Troubleshooting capabilities.
