Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical expertise, including experience with industrial and commercial electrical systems, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across our healthcare facilities to ensure continuous operational efficiency. Duties Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and systems in accordance with local electrical codes and safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults efficiently. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system installations. Perform maintenance on industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage control circuits. Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards and other relevant safety procedures. Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new construction projects to integrate electrical systems seamlessly. Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and upgrades for compliance and future reference. Adhere strictly to electrical safety procedures while working on construction sites or in operational environments. Skills Proven experience as an industrial electrician with knowledge of industrial electrical systems. Commercial electrician experience with expertise in commercial electrical systems installation and maintenance. Strong understanding of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) regulations and local electrical codes. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics for complex wiring projects. Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and power tools. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and high-voltage wiring setups. Ability to work safely following all electrical safety procedures while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Construction site experience combined with handyman skills such as frame carpentry is advantageous.
