Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team and fill an immediate need
Job Requirements:
The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintain and repair electrical control and distribution equipment (switches, relays, circuit breakers, control panels), variable frequency drive systems, and programmable logic control (PLC) systems. Troubleshoot and maintain motor control centers, motor start circuits, control loops, and related equipment. Install electrical conduit, pull and terminate wiring. Read and interpret engineering drawings to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems. Use electrical/electronic testing equipment such as multi-meters, ammeters, and megohm meters to troubleshoot and repair equipment. Fabricate parts not commercially available, using machine and hand tools to maintain operational efficiency. Assist in establishing and maintaining scheduled maintenance programs for plant equipment within CMMS Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is essential Knowledge of HVAC and/or gas burner systems and controls is preferred. Other requirements for the Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician include: Willingness to work overtime as needed Strong communication skills Proven commitment to safety Experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word programs Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams Ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions, and initiate repairs Attention to detail and excellent follow up skills Must be self-motivated with excellent time management skills Ability to work with little or no supervision Primary equipment in use at
