Apprentice Electrician Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to learn and assist with the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment. This position offers hands-on training and career development opportunities in the electrical trade. Key Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Pull wire, install conduit, outlets, switches, transformers, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings. Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively. Perform basic troubleshooting of electrical circuits and equipment under supervision. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and electrical codes. Assist with material handling, inventory, and job site preparation. Participate in classroom instruction and apprenticeship training programs as required. Complete work assignments efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and on construction sites. Preferred Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program. Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hand tools. Construction or trade experience. OSHA 10 certification or other safety training.
