Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Wyoming Electrician, where you will play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems across industrial, residential, and commercial sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-voltage electrical wiring, industrial motor maintenance, and electrical systems installation, ensuring safety and compliance with all relevant codes. You will bring your expertise in electrical diagnostics, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation to deliver reliable electrical solutions that power our clients' operations. Your energetic approach and technical proficiency will contribute to the success of diverse construction projects and ongoing electrical maintenance efforts. Duties Install, repair, and maintain industrial and commercial electrical systems in accordance with electrical building codes and NFPA 70 standards (National Electrical Code). Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics to identify faults and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Perform high-voltage wiring tasks safely, adhering to electrical safety procedures while working on power distribution systems. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise installations and repairs. Maintain industrial motors, motor control equipment, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal operation of machinery. Utilize hand tools, power tools, construction site experience, and frame carpentry skills to complete projects accurately and efficiently. Follow all safety protocols related to low voltage and high-voltage electrical work while maintaining compliance with OSHA regulations. Assist in the installation of new electrical systems for buildings or facilities, including low voltage systems integral to modern infrastructure. Troubleshoot complex electrical issues across various systems through systematic testing and diagnostic procedures. Support ongoing electrical maintenance activities to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial projects; construction site experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical building codes. Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and blueprints reading skills. Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring, motor control equipment, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and industrial motor maintenance. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics for troubleshooting complex electrical systems. Ability to work safely following all electrical safety procedures related to high voltage and low voltage systems. Familiarity with construction practices including frame carpentry is a plus for integrating structural elements with electrical installations. Valid electrician license or certification preferred; relevant certifications in industrial or commercial wiring are advantageous.
