Responsibilities Prepare comprehensive construction estimates Utilize industry-standard estimating software such as Xactimate and Symbility Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to negotiate pricing and secure competitive bids Conduct site visits to gather on-the-ground information that influences cost and scheduling estimates Assist in the development of project budgets, cost control measures, and schedule planning Review contracts and scope of work to ensure alignment with project goals and budget constraints Work with project managers in producing Supplemental items on claims Support project management teams by providing detailed cost analysis and assisting with change order evaluations Skills Proficiency in construction estimating software including Xactimate and Symbility. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms with vendors and subcontractors. Solid understanding of construction estimating principles, cost control, and pricing strategies. Construction site experience that provides practical insight into on-the-ground realities. Knowledge of construction management processes, contracts, and project management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications accurately.
