Job Description The Estimator will report directly to preconstruction leadership and play a key role in developing competitive bids and accurate budgets for commercial construction projects. Prepare conceptual, schematic, design development, and hard bid estimates. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine scope and pricing requirements. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs across all construction trades. Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor proposals. Develop project budgets and cost models throughout the preconstruction process. Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions. Assist with bid submissions and project turnover to operations teams. The Successful Applicant For the Estimator role we are seeking: 3+ years of estimating experience with a commercial General Contractor. Experience estimating ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects. Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and materials. Ability to review plans, specifications, and contract documents with precision. Experience preparing detailed quantity takeoffs and bid packages. Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
