Job Description
About us Our goal is to specialize in residential and commercial projects, including insurance restoration. We are is seeking a skilled Construction Estimater. Individual must be detail-oriented, willing to travel, conduct research, attend meetings and prepare reports. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of commercial or residential projects and will be required to provide accurate estimates. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and organization skills, problem solving, attention to detail and be a team player. We're looking for someone who has experience in working on both small and large scale projects and has an extensive knowledge of cost control and detail management.
Responsibilities:
Study the feasibility of the commerical or residential construction project and make a recommendation to the owner. Conduct research in order to determine the cost of the project. Calculate the amount of materials and labor needed. Prepare estimates, with detailed cost breakdowns. Work with the Office Manager to complete and submit bids. Review contract with the Office Manager to determine requirements.Experience:
Required:
2 years of commercial and residential construction estimating.Required:
Construction phase knowledge.Required:
Ability to understand contractural language.Preferred:
2 years of maintainng RFI's and Take-Offs.Skills:
Excellent communication. Multi-tasking. Able to work independently, with a sense of urgency. Team player. Organization. MicroSoft Excel and Outlook.Job Type:
