Vision > The Senior Estimator serves as a key stakeholder for estimating across Exact, supporting estimating functions throughout the organization while taking primary ownership of our most complex and high-value projects. > Day to day, this role will be centered on large-loss residential restoration projects , while also providing technical support, oversight and development for estimators working across other divisions and project types. > The objective is simple: create a clear, defensible path from opportunity, to contract, to production. You Own The Estimate Customer Integration Adjuster & Carrier Engagement Scope Development & Documentation Estimating Standards Estimator Training & Development Expectations You are expected to: Independently estimate and contract complex residential restoration projects. Develop accurate, thorough and defensible scopes using Xactimate and Symbility when applicable. Confidently navigate scope and pricing discussions with adjusters, consultants and other stakeholders. Translate estimating decisions into clear, executable production scopes. Support estimating needs across divisions when required. Train, mentor and elevate other team members with estimating responsibilities. Improve estimating consistency, quality and accountability as Exact grows. Take ownership of outcomes—not simply the completion of an estimate. Challenges Exact generates the majority of its opportunities outside of managed repair programs. This gives our team greater freedom to prioritize the customer experience and determine the appropriate scope of work, but it also means we must consistently earn the project. Success requires strong technical estimating, effective communication, confident stakeholder engagement and the ability to create trust with both customers and insurance professionals. This role also requires versatility. While large-loss projects will be the primary focus, the Senior Estimator must be willing and capable of stepping into other estimating functions, solving difficult files and developing the people around them. The Opportunity This is an opportunity to become the senior estimating voice within a growing restoration company and help build the estimating functions required for our next stage of growth. We are looking for someone who is technically exceptional, customer minded, comfortable with accountability, and aligned with Team Exact's values: OWN IT |
