Ensure estimates include all required labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, and applicable project costs. Maintain detailed estimate notes, photos, documentation, and project updates in JobNimbus . Work closely with Reconstruction Project Managers to ensure the approved estimate matches the actual project scope. Assist with change orders and supplemental estimates when additional damage or required work is discovered. Maintain fast estimate turnaround times to prevent delays in project scheduling. Help ensure reconstruction projects meet company profitability goals. Provide excellent customer service throughout the estimating and approval process.
Qualifications Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of estimating experience in restoration, reconstruction, insurance claims, or residential construction. Strong experience using Xactimate . Ability to manage multiple estimates and projects simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to identify missing scope items. Comfortable meeting homeowners and inspecting damaged properties. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Experience with JobNimbus or similar restoration/construction CRM software is a plus. What We're Looking For The right person for this position is someone who takes ownership of their projects and understands that estimating is about more than putting numbers into Xactimate.
We need someone who:
Moves with urgency. Communicates consistently. Pays attention to details. Takes ownership instead of passing problems to someone else. Understands how missed scope affects the customer, production team, and company. Can defend an estimate professionally with documentation and facts. Works well as part of one unified team.
