Your expertise will help ensure projects are priced competitively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope of work for drywall installation and finishing. Prepare detailed cost estimates using construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather accurate measurements, and evaluate logistical considerations for drywall work. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while ensuring quality standards are met. Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Monitor project progress and implement cost control measures to stay within budget parameters. Review contracts and scope of work documents to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals. Skills Proficiency in construction estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam is essential. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms with vendors and subcontractors. Extensive knowledge of drywall materials, installation techniques, and finishing processes. Construction site experience to accurately assess conditions and logistical challenges. Solid understanding of construction management principles, including cost control and project scheduling. Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and contract documents clearly. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, and suppliers.
