Job Description
SDV Services, Inc. seeks a mid-level Project Estimator to join our team and grow with the company. Rigging experience is strongly preferred. SDV provides rigging, machinery installation, steel erection, and ornamental/miscellaneous metals, including exterior metal panels, canopies, balconies, handrails, stair towers, and installs garage cable barrier systems. Also installed/retrofitted are pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB). This is not strictly a desk position. You will work closely with our field crews, using firsthand knowledge of how the work is performed to develop better estimates and help manage projects from award through completion.
Responsibilities include:
- Review plans, specifications, and bid opportunities
- Prepare estimates: labor, material, equipment, rigging, and schedules
- Prepare proposals: obtain vendor and subcontractor pricing
- Work closely with field crews on manpower, access, and sequencing
- Assist with procurement cost tracking, and project administration The ideal candidate has estimating.
- Compensation commensurate with experience
- Salary Range $95,000 to 110,000
