Responsibilities 1. Responsible for executing a high volume of estimates while interacting and communicating with the clients, partners, vendors, suppliers, and internal resources. 2. Analyze project specifications and prepare cost estimates for time, cost, materials, and labor. 3. Evaluate all methods available for producing a job and provide quotes that best utilize our equipment and manufacturing capabilities. 4. Offer suggestions regarding production techniques or materials to lower costs and/or, for improving job quality and communicate with sales. 5. Prepare estimates, using our MIS system, in a timely and accurate manner. 6. Obtains vendor quotes for use in estimating and cost-effective purchasing, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures. 7. Consult with internal manufacturing supervisors, outside resources and suppliers to produce a comprehensive estimate (when applicable). 8. Revise estimates as needed due to specification changes. 9. Review estimates with management when necessary or as requested. 10. Keep management apprised of workload and the status of estimates. 11. Performs any other responsibilities that management identifies for this position. 12. Adhere to Sandy Alexander's quality and environmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives and comply with all safety and work rules when performing duties. 13. Complete and maintain all required checklists, paperwork, records, documents, etc. and maintain departmental housekeeping standards. Skills and Qualifications- Minimum of 3 year of experience in Estimating or Project Planning in the Print Industry
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, with intermediate level MS Excel skills
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and possess good analytical and follow-up skills.
- Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Pay:
