Role Description The Sales Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. This position is responsible for reviewing project plans, specifications, and client requests to prepare accurate estimates and proposals for glass and related materials installations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project requirements, conducting site visits as needed, preparing cost breakdowns, and collaborating with sales and project teams to clarify scope and timelines. The Sales Estimator communicates with customers to understand needs, provide pricing options, and answer technical or product-related questions. The role also involves maintaining organized records of bids, following up on open opportunities, and supporting business development activities to expand client relationships and drive revenue. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to build rapport and manage expectations. Proficiency in Sales and Business Development to identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and support revenue growth. Demonstrated ability in Project Estimation, including reading plans, calculating quantities, and preparing detailed cost estimates. Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and pricing. Comfort working on-site in a construction-related environment, including coordinating with contractors and project stakeholders. Basic proficiency with office and estimating software (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM tools, or dedicated estimating platforms). Relevant experience in glass, construction, or building materials estimating is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or coursework in construction, estimating, or a related field is beneficial.
