Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our commercial construction projects. The estimator will oversee project development from paper to completion, focusing on: Rough and Finish Carpentry and overall construction estimating. Accurate estimation of production costs. Obtaining Vendor and Subcontractor qualified bids Resource planning within budget constraints. Logistics mapping for proposals. Coordination with stakeholders (subcontractors, PMs, and clients). Key Responsibilities Conduct site visits and job walks for bid preparation. Review all front ends, plans, and specifications Review and integrate specifications, permits, and requirements into bids. Obtain subcontractor/vendor quotes and evaluate proposals. Develop detailed cost estimates, material lists, and budgets. Utilize estimating software for accuracy. Coordinate insurance reviews and contractual compliance. Maintain professional communication and follow-up with clients and teams. Perform post-project audits and provide feedback for improvement. Attend outreach events to foster client relationships. Skills Self-motivated, decisive, and able to manage multiple tasks. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Thorough understanding of construction processes, technology, and safety. Communication and running meetings/reviews with clients Detail Oriented Computer Proficiency Microsoft Office, Onscreen Take Off, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, Procore (or similar). Building Connected Education & Experience Bachelor's in construction, engineering, or related field (preferred). 2 years of experience as an estimator with a general contractor. Expertise in rough carpentry and lumber take-offs.

$110,000.00- $120,000.
