Responsibilities:

Estimate Reinforcing Steel for assigned projects or Detail Reinforcing Steel for assigned projects. Review contract drawings and specifications for general requirements, special requirements, and potential problems that may arise on a project. Communicate with contractors regarding submittals, change orders, project requirements, and plan clarifications. Document and maintain required project files. Submit details to contractors in a timely and professional manner or submit estimates to manager. Submit details for fabrication or submit estimates to supervisor.

Requirements:

Three years experience required . Candidates must have knowledge and experience detailing and /or estimating within the rebar industry. Knowledge and skill in basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet capability. Proficiency in RebarCad/AutoCad preferred (we do not use ASA). Good verbal and written communication skills.
