Job Description
Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates and bids for commercial electrical construction projects. Review drawings, specifications, and project scope to determine labor, material, and equipment requirements. Obtain and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors. Develop accurate project cost estimates and proposals. Identify potential cost issues, scope gaps, and opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate with project managers, clients, vendors, and subcontractors throughout the estimating process. Maintain strong professional relationships with customers, vendors, and subcontractors. Support the company's continued growth through accurate estimating and effective project planning. Qualifications Previous experience as a Commercial Estimator, preferably with an electrical contractor. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction and estimating practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with a team.
