The company is expanding, and we are looking for someone to help continue this trajectory. The position will involve both field and office work. Applicants should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas:
- Read and interpret plans -- perform site layout tasks, identify major and minor elements of each job, understand and apprise crew of all work to be done on a daily and weekly basis, and quickly evaluate and troubleshoot potential areas of concern.
- Lead and motivate multi-person crews. Organize and coordinate work flow, oversee quality control; train and mentor team, establish and maintain a high level of craftsman, manage time according to budget and keep accurate job records.
- Communicate and Problem solve. Engage other Project Managers, Clients, and Employees in finding solutions to material, technical and logistical challenges
- Experience in designing and managing the installation of Stone Walls, Patios, Pathways, Steps, General Masonry, Concrete Formwork, Flatwork, Retaining Walls, Finishing, Stucco, Fences, Gates, Benches, Decks, Pergolas, Custom Wood Structures, Irrigation, and Low Voltage Lighting Systems.
APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 4 years working in landscape installation in a skilled capacity in both construction and planning aspects of the work, with at least 2 years in a foreman/supervisory role.
- Compensation is based on experience, professional skills, documented training and demonstrated craftsmanship. Relevant work in other trades, references and language skills will also be considered.
- You will be required to drive company trucks and must have a good driving record, valid California Driver's License, and be insurable.
