Skip to job details. Under the overall guidance of the Program Controls Deputy Director, the Program Estimating Manager oversees the Program Estimating Unit as a key team member. Situated within the Project Controls Office, Program Planning and Control Branch, this role is highly interactive and requires the estimating manager to both lead and actively engage in all estimating activities. + Manage the cost estimating group in the development of all capital cost estimates for CAHSRA from planning conceptual level to final design and construction cost estimates. + Facilitate the development of information used to develop cost estimates with all internal and external stakeholders. + Support the development of the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan capital cost estimates, Program Baselines and Project Update Reports. + Develop Estimate Development Plans and Basis of Estimate reports as required + Support the review of contractor estimates and claims. + Develop policies and procedures for programmatic cost estimating.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- + BA/BS + 12 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- + Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Science/Management or Quantity Surveying + 20+ years of estimating experience + 10+ years in transit work with typical project size over $10 Billion.

- + Travel may be required for this position + Sponsorship is offered for this position Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $175000 to $318000.
