Annual Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience, strong estimating, project management, plan reading, cost control, and scheduling skills. Project Manager /

San Luis Obispo, CA Work Type:
Full-time, On-site Role Summary:
Manage heavy civil construction projects from planning through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, project execution, subcontractor coordination, change orders, cost tracking, submittals, billings, and project estimating.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion. Prepare project estimates and bid books. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking. Coordinate field operations, clients, and multiple subcontractors. Prepare and price change orders. Manage submittals, billings, procurement, and material expediting. Maintain quality control, inspection, compliance, and project logistics. Review construction plans and specifications.
Key Qualifications:
5+ years of Project Management experience. Heavy Civil estimating experience. Advanced plan reading and specification knowledge. Experience managing multiple subcontractors. Strong logistics, procurement, and inspection knowledge. Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, HCSS Heavy Bid/Job, and Primavera P6 . Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
