Not a quoter. Not an order-taker. A closer who builds their own book. Cooley Brothers Painting has been the South Bay's premium residential painting company for over a decade. We back every job with up to a 5-year warranty, one of the longest in the industry, and our reputation is the reason qualified homeowners and property managers call us first. We bring strong inbound leads, a brand homeowners trust, and craftsmanship that backs up every proposal. What we need is the person who closes those leads and goes out and creates more, by canvassing neighborhoods, working referrals, building relationships with property managers and realtors, and turning every finished job into the next three. If you wait for leads to come to you, this isn't your seat. If you build your own pipeline and out-earn the people who don't, keep reading. What You'll Actually Do Walk high-end residential projects across the South Bay, single-family homes, estates, and HOA communities, and price them accurately on the spot or same-day. Sit down with homeowners, present the proposal, handle the objections, and close. Read plans and specs when the project calls for it, and translate them into a number that protects our margin and earns the client's trust. Outside of inbound appointments, you'll be generating your own pipeline : canvassing active neighborhoods where we're already working, knocking on doors near completed jobs, asking happy clients for referrals before you leave the driveway, and building relationships with property managers, HOA boards, realtors, and general contractors who feed steady work. You'll partner with our crew leaders so what you sell is what gets delivered, no surprises, no callbacks on scope. You'll run evening and weekend appointments when homeowners are home, because that's when the work happens in this industry, and you already know that. What You'll Bring You've personally closed $1M+ in residential revenue in a single year, and you can talk through exactly how you did it. You can walk a 4,000 sq ft exterior and have a working number in your head before you're back at the truck. You've sat in living rooms or boardrooms and gotten a "yes" the same day, not "we'll think about it and call you next week." You know how to build a pipeline from scratch. You've knocked doors, worked a referral playbook, kept a CRM clean, and turned cold neighborhoods into closed jobs. You don't flinch at asking a happy client for three names before you leave. You've built relationships with property managers, realtors, or GCs that pay you back for years. You know the difference between presenting a price and selling a project, and you know which one pays. You've got 5-7 years of estimating experience in painting or construction, plus real in-home selling reps under your belt. You're fluent enough with CRMs and estimating software that we're not teaching you what a pipeline is. You hold a valid driver's license, you show up in reliable transportation, and you carry yourself like someone a homeowner trusts inside their house.
