Duties Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to develop precise estimates for drywall, stucco, and metal stud framing work Utilize estimating software such as Planswift and Bluebeam to prepare detailed cost proposals and bid packages Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing information and negotiate favorable terms Analyze project scope changes and update estimates accordingly to maintain budget accuracy Assist in developing project schedules, cost control measures, and procurement strategies Prepare comprehensive bid documents that include pricing, scope of work, and contractual terms Support contract negotiations by providing technical insights on project costs and timelines Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating with a focus on drywall, stucco, and metal stud framing projects Strong knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project management processes Proficiency in Bluebeam, Planswift, and other estimating or project management software tools Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards Solid understanding of construction site operations and safety protocols Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and suppliers Construction site experience is highly preferred to understand practical project challenges Join us if you're passionate about delivering precise estimates that drive successful construction projects!
