Estimator-Multifamily Construction Location:

Anaheim, CA About the Opportunity A growing construction and facility services organization is looking for a Multifamily Construction Estimator to join its Austin team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on construction knowledge who can evaluate multifamily properties, develop detailed scopes of work, and produce accurate estimates for repairs, renovations, and construction deficiencies. You'll work closely with property managers, clients, sales teams, operations, contractors, and insurance adjusters to develop accurate bids and ensure projects move smoothly from estimating through execution. What You'll Do Inspect multifamily properties and identify construction deficiencies, damage, and required repairs. Develop detailed scopes of work and cost estimates for multifamily renovation and repair projects. Prepare estimates using Xactimate and other estimating tools. Perform material and labor quantity takeoffs and evaluate construction costs. Review construction drawings, specifications, and existing site conditions. Conduct jobsite inspections alongside clients, sales representatives, and insurance adjusters. Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters regarding scopes, pricing, and settlements. Provide construction and estimating expertise to support contract negotiations. Coordinate between clients, adjusters, sales, operations, and office staff throughout the bidding process. Provide operations teams with accurate scopes and hard-cost estimates for project execution. Ensure bid packages contain the appropriate documentation and information. Assist with project invoicing and documentation as needed. Identify construction issues and develop practical, cost-effective solutions. Travel to project sites throughout the assigned territory as needed. What We're Looking For Construction estimating experience required; multifamily experience strongly preferred . Experience with Xactimate strongly preferred. Understanding of multifamily construction methods, materials, and repair processes. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience performing material and labor takeoffs. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with clients, subcontractors, contractors, insurance adjusters, and internal teams. Strong customer service skills and a collaborative approach. roficiency with Microsoft Office Suite . Experience with Procore, Sage, or NAV is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites as needed.
