Electrical Estimator - $90 to $110k
JOB OVERVIEW
The Electrical Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. This role requires analyzing project specifications, evaluating labor and material costs, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure estimates align with company standards and client requirements. The Electrical Estimator plays a key role in securing new projects and supporting project planning and execution.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals in alignment with project timelines and budget expectations.
- Research and source materials and equipment to ensure accurate pricing and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and vendors to ensure estimates reflect realistic project conditions.
- Track market trends, labor rates, and material costs to ensure up-to-date pricing and cost projections.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk factors in project estimates.
- Maintain and update historical cost data for future reference.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as needed to assess project conditions and requirements.
