We specialize in commercial landscaping and landscape construction, and we're looking for someone who understands the industry, knows how to build accurate estimates, and can help us win and successfully manage profitable projects. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with customers, vendors, subcontractors, field crews, and management. Responsibilities Review plans, blueprints, specifications, and bid documents Visit commercial job sites to evaluate scope, site conditions, access, soil, and potential challenges Prepare accurate estimates for landscape and hardscape construction projects Calculate material, labor, equipment, subcontractor, and other project costs Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers and subcontractors Negotiate pricing and maintain strong vendor relationships Prepare competitive and profitable project bids Work with designers to develop project budgets and scopes Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve profitability Communicate estimates and proposals clearly to customers Respond to customer questions regarding project scope and pricing Maintain accurate estimating, bidding, and project records Assist with project management and budgeting as needed Regularly inspect company equipment, facilities, and work vehicles Ensure projects and operations follow company policies and industry standards Qualifications 5+ years of experience in landscape estimating, landscape construction, project management, or a similar role Commercial landscape experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of landscaping, irrigation, hardscaping, masonry, and plant materials Ability to read and understand landscape plans and construction documents Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, materials, and labor requirements Proficiency with Aspire & Xcel preferred Valid driver's license/must be able to get on our insurance Compensation $50,000-$75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
