Estimator Professional Employment Group of Colorado Loveland, CO Job Details $140,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Estimating software Blueprint specification interpretation Productivity software Full Job Description A growing and well-established concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and wants long-term career growth with a company that values quality, teamwork, and strong client relationships. This role will be responsible for preparing competitive and accurate estimates for commercial and industrial concrete projects while working closely with operations, project managers, vendors, and leadership teams. Responsibilities Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost analysis Prepare accurate project estimates and proposals Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Develop labor, equipment, and material budgets Identify value engineering opportunities and project risks Coordinate with field operations and project management teams during preconstruction Attend pre-bid meetings and occasional site walks Maintain organized bid documentation and estimating records Assist with project turnover meetings once work is awarded Qualifications 2+ years of estimating experience within concrete or commercial construction Strong understanding of concrete construction methods and materials Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and bids simultaneously Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Preferred Experience Commercial concrete estimating Structural concrete, foundations, flatwork, tilt-up, or site concrete experience Experience working with general contractors and negotiated projects Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Performance bonuses Health benefits Paid time off and holidays Long-term growth opportunities Stable and growing project pipeline If you are looking for an opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong reputation and consistent work, we would love to speak with you. #PEG2
